Big Games in College Hoops Happening NOW!

The college basketball season is really heating up… and so is quail season in Texas, apparently. But more on that later. Big games are being played all over the country, so let’s try to go over a few before the weekend starts and there’s a whole mess of things to discuss. First up: Gonzaga at St. Joe’s. The Zags needed some late-game heroics to hold on to their spot at No. 19 in the nation. They are without a few key players due to injury, so the Zags might stumble a bit before they can get back into Tourney shape. This is expected, Zags ended up holding on. Another big game was Oregon-Kansas State, which went into overtime. Oregon won in the end, but the real winners were the fans who were watching at the game and on TV.

The other big thing happening in college hoops is Bob Knight. Earlier in the week the Final Four Blog told you about the hunting incident that he got into. Well, now there’s a video out. Could this get any better for college basketball bloggers? It’s like an early Christmas present.
