Cornell: The First Team to Get a Tournament Ticket

Make sure to check out the Weekly Watch at ESPN. You’ll get to see all of the best stuff that you need to know about the exciting world of NCAA basketball. For instance, one little nugget of information that you ought to familiarize yourself with is the fact that Cornell is the first team that is officaially part of the NCAA Tournament.

We have no idea where Cornell will make their appearance, or what seed they will get, but this weekend they clinched the Ivy League title with wins over Dartmouth and Harvard. The Big Red of Cornell are actually not that bad, even considering they are part of a conference that is known for academics much more than athletics. They played Duke earlier, and although the final score looked bad, Cornell played well against the much more basketball-oriented Dukies.

Congrats to the Big Red. We look forward to selling tickets to see you guys play in the Tournament. Princeton and Penn have historically been the monsters of the Ivy, but it looks like Cornell will be around for a while. Get NCAA basketball tickets to see this team play in the Tourney.
