Mid Majors That Hold Onto The Ball

Mid Major Week continues here at the Final Four Blog, and we have quite a treat for you today. We have gathered some stats using the good numbers provided by basetballprospectus.com to sort out the mid major schools who can hold onto the ball from the mid major schools who need a better point guard. We’re using the stats for the turnover percentage of a team, which is not completely related to having a good point guard, but nonetheless might suggest things about how well the team is able to accurately distribute and hold the ball without giving it up to the other team. We use the stats at BP.com, and then also our own formula, which tends to give more credit to the schools who made the NCAA Tournament.
