Greg Paulus, who you might recall played point guard for the Duke Blue Devil last season, has been kindly shooed away from playing football for the Blue Devils. Apparently Paulus used to play a little quarterback when he was in high school and was inquiring about playing QB for Duke this year. However, the Duke coach said that they already have their quarterback situation in place. He offered Paulus the opportunity to try out ofr a receiver position, but Paulus declined. It was also mentioned that Paulus might transfer to Michigan for the opportunity to play QB.
In other news around the NCAA, Luke Harangody, the Notre Dame power forward, has decided whether or not he will declare himself eligible for the NBA Draft, and will announce that decision at a press conference later today. We’re not sure of his decision as of this post, but the smart money says he tries his hand at the NBA Draft. Harangody was the only player to finish in the top ten nationally in both scoring and rebounding. He’s an average defender, but is one of the most accomplished offensive players in the NCAA.
