The Collegiate Who Dunked on LeBron

Although Nike and LeBron James have made sure that the tapes of this incident never reach the light of day, there was one moment at the Nike LeBron James Skills Academy when the King himself, LeBron James, got dunked on. Jordan Crawford delivered the posterization. Apparently the footage was so raw and the dunk so savage that LeBron and camp organizers say fit to confiscate all of the footage of the dunk. The story has gone viral, and everyone wants to weigh in on the drama. But only Jeff Goodman of FoxSports.com has the inside scoop from the college basketball prospective. Who is Jordan Crawford?  He’s a sophomore at Xavier. Goodman gets his opinion on what happened. It might be the only first-hand account of the dunk from one of the people involved.  The quote from Crawford ends,  “… so he jumped late. It was two-handed.”

Do you think this is a big publicity stunt?  Do you think that this is just building a bunch of hype so that the internet video of it- when it is eventually released- can become an even bigger sensation?  And do you think this dunk would have been that big of a deal if LeBron or Nike had never tried to have it confiscated?  As is the case with a lot of things on the internet these days, if you try to censor something, people will seek it out that much more vehemently. It has a sort of ironic/opposite effect. If this tape ever does get out, it will be the biggest basketball video since LeBron shot that half-court shot in that interview.
